Children's Activities
- Children’s In-library Activity : During the month of March, stop by the Children’s library to explore our frog-themed in-library activity
- LEGO At-Home Challenge (while supplies last): Beginning Wednesday, March 19th (former LEGO Club day) not March 22nd like the other activities. Stop by the Children’s Desk to get your LEGO Challenge bag. Complete the challenge (using only the LEGOs provided) then email a picture of your build to library@newbergoregon.gov.
- Children’s Grab & Go (while supplies last): Available beginning Saturday, March 22nd. Learn about frogs and have a hopping good time with this spring-themed grab and go!
- Spring Storytime Break: Storytimes are on break starting March 24th-31st. Storytimes will return on Tuesday, April 1st.
- Genre Bingo: Choose your favorite genre and complete a bingo. Bingos can be found in the Teen area. Turn your completed Bingo in at the upstairs information desk to earn a small prize.
- Take & Make (while supplies last): Available at the upstairs information desk, teens--come by and get your Take & Make kit. Create your very own origami jumping frog.
- Frog Activity Booklet (while supplies last): Do you like frogs and are looking to de-stress? Stop by the Children’s desk to pick up your activity kit beginning Saturday, March 22nd.
- Spice Kit (while supplies last): Spring break only-- beginning Saturday, March 22nd, pick up your pickling spice kit downstairs at the Circulation desk. Learn more about picking spices and what amazing things you can do with it.
