Homebound DeliveryThe Newberg Public Library provides free home delivery to Newberg residents who are unable to visit the library due to disability or illness, whether short-term or long-term, and provides biweekly delivery of up to ten items (books, DVDs, CDs) every month, right to your doorstep.
Interested in receiving Homebound Delivery Service or know someone who may be? Please fill out the Homebound Interest form online and a library staff member will follow up.
The program has a limited capacity and all spots may be currently filled. In the event all spots are filled, you will be waitlisted until a spot opens.
When your interest form is received, library staff will contact you to discuss current program availability, along with your eligibility and delivery needs.

Talking Book & Braille Library
The Talking Book and Braille Library at the State Library of Oregon is a FREE Braille and audio book library for any Oregonian with a print-disability, which means a person cannot read standard-size 12pt print for long periods of time comfortably. All lending is done free through the mail or via download.
Eligibility for our library includes the following:
- Visual Impairment: needing aids stronger than regular reading glasses to read. Examples include (but are not limited to): Legal Blindness, Macular Degeneration, Cataracts, Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy, etc.
- Physical Impairment: inability to handle a book or turn its pages. Examples include (but are not limited to): Muscular Sclerosis, Parkinson’s, stroke, severe arthritis, paraplegia, traumatic brain injury, etc.
- Reading Impairment: impairment in print comprehension. Examples include (but are not limited to): dyslexia, dysphasia, etc.

You can get a physical application from the library or download it below. Then, complete the application, have it signed and certified by a librarian, educator, or healthcare professional, and then email, mail, or fax the application to submit it.
