As winter weather sets in, the City of Newberg wants to ensure all residents have access to warming shelters, know how to report weather-related issues, and can easily contact key community partners. Please bookmark this page or save the numbers for easy access during severe weather.

Winter Warming Shelters
For those in need of a warm place to stay, several local organizations open their doors. Please note that while the Library is a city service, other locations are independently hosted and may have changes to hours or availability. Please check with them individually to ensure that services are available.
Newberg Public Library
Location: 503 E Hancock Street
Hours: Tue/Wed/Sat 10am-6pm | Thu 10am-8pm | Fri Noon-6pm
Note: Check the Library's social media for real-time updates on severe weather closures.

Community Drop-In Center
Location: 504 E First Street
Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

Youth Outreach Drop-In Center (Ages 11-24 Only)
Location: 615 N College Street
Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-8pm
