Get Involved!
Volunteers who serve on Newberg’s boards and committees are foundational to the development of our programs and policies. Our volunteers dedicate their time and expertise to serve as an important link to community needs and represent community values. We welcome people of all backgrounds and experiences to serve on our boards and committees. Applications are available during open recruitment period. Most of the board, committee and commission openings occur in the Fall each year.

Unable to serve but would still like to be involved and help your city? Here are a few things you can do to help your community: 

• Attend Public Meetings
  • City Council meetings meet the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month
  • Other Committees/Commissions meet throughout the year, follow this LINK to see our public meeting schedule
