Big Changes Coming to the Library!
The Newberg Public Library is getting a little upgrade! To make it happen, the Library will be closed from Monday, September 1 through Saturday, September 6 while crews work on important repairs and building improvements.
What You Need to Know
-
Reopening: We’ll welcome you back with regular hours starting Tuesday, September 9.
-
New Temporary Entrance: You’ll enter from the north side of the building, facing the Chehalem Cultural Center on E. Sheridan Street. The entrance includes both ramp and stair access for everyone’s convenience.
-
Checked-Out Items: Due dates are extended into October, so there’s no rush to return items right away.
-
Drop Box Access: The outdoor drop box will have limited availability during construction.
-
Holds: Items on hold will stay on the shelf longer than usual so you won’t miss out.
Programs & Storytimes
Summer storytimes wrap up on August 13 and will return on September 23. Other programs will be limited during the closure, so check our events calendar for the latest updates.
