The City of Newberg has been made aware of a flyer being posted around the city about backflow testing. The City did not create or distribute this flyer and does not endorse it.
The City does not promote or endorse any specific business, vendor, or aftermarket product. Public record laws allow private companies to obtain mailing lists from the City and send solicitations without the City’s consent. Residents and business owners have the right to hire the vendor of their choosing and should research any company or product before purchasing, both to protect against sales fraud and to confirm the service or product meets code.
If you received this flyer, please note the following:
- The flyer was not circulated or endorsed by the City of Newberg.
- The deadline to complete backflow testing is the end of the year.
- Information about the backflow testing program, including a list of State Certified Backflow testers, is available on the Backflow Testing Program page.
