Council Roundup

Newberg City Council met for their regularly scheduled meeting on October 5^th, 2026, and the following transpired:

Heard a presentation from City Manager Will Worthey regarding the scope of work for the River Street Improvement Project Request for Proposal (RFP), and moved to approve the scope of work and initiate the RFP.
Approved Resolution 2026-4050, amending the Newberg Affordable Housing Trust Fund Policy, including removal of the Time-sensitive grant award pathway and elimination of the microloan program.
