Our partners at the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) are working on Phase 2a of the Newberg-Dundee Bypass construction. Part of that work will involve construction of a new interchange between OR 219 and OR 18.
Beginning at 8 pm September 25, 2026 and ending at 5am September 28, 2026, drivers can expect the following impacts:- The westbound lane of Wilsonville Road will temporarily close starting at 8 p.m. on September 25 through 5 a.m. on September 28, while ODOT widens the road at the OR 219 intersection.
- During the closure, drivers must follow the signed detour: NE Wilsonville Road → NE Renne Road → NE Fernwood Road → S Springbrook Road → OR 219.
As a result of the detour, our neighbors on Renne Rd and Fernwood Rd can expect to see increased traffic volume of up to an additional 1700 drivers per day. Please plan ahead if you live in the area and give yourself extra travel time.
