            A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Newberg, Yamhill County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the biennium of July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027, will be held on April 29, 2025, May 6, 2025, and May 13, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Denise Bacon Community Room at the Public Safety Building at 401 E. Third Street, Newberg, Oregon. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberations of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.

A Financial Forecast Meeting will be held prior to the first official budget meeting on April 22, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Denise Bacon Community Room.

Public comment concerning possible uses of State Revenue Sharing funds will be received at the May 13^th Budget Committee meeting.

            Specific instructions to access the meeting electronically can be found on the City website at www.newbergoregon.gov. The public can also participate by emailing public comments to the City Recorder at cityrecorder@newbergoregon.gov.

            A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 25, 2025, at 414 E. First Street, Newberg, Oregon, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. To view the budget online beginning April 25, 2025, visit City of Newberg’s Annual Budget Webpage.
